The CLL
Treatment Story:

Leveraging Modern BTK
Inhibitor Regimens for
Effective First-Line
Disease Control

Chronic lymphoid leukemia (CLL) is the most common adult leukemia in the United States, marked by biological and clinical complexity. Recent advances—especially Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitors and venetoclax—have transformed first-line treatment, offering improved survival over chemoimmunotherapy. However, gaps remain between evolving guidelines and real-world practice. This 4-part, on-demand learning center will equip clinicians with practical, evidence-based strategies for optimizing first-line CLL care.

Evolving First-Line Strategies for CLL: Expert Perspectives on Novel BTK Inhibitor Regimens for Attaining Sustained Disease Control

Credit Available: 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™

In this didactic activity, experts discuss the latest data on BTK inhibitor monotherapy and combination regimens in first-line CLL treatment. Learners will review updated efficacy, safety, and tolerability findings; apply strategies for pretreatment evaluation to guide individualized therapy; and address key practical aspects of BTK inhibitor use, including dosing, response assessment, adverse event management, and planning for subsequent lines of care.

Implementing Guideline-Aligned Treatment Selection into CLL Clinical Practice

Credit Available: 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™

This didactic and case-based activity reviews the latest clinical guideline recommendations and supporting evidence for first-line CLL treatment across diverse patient populations. Participants will learn to select appropriate BTKi-based strategies in varied clinical scenarios and apply practical approaches—including adverse event management and fixed-duration options—to support the delivery of personalized, guideline-concordant care using BTK inhibitor regimens.
